European Congress of Small and Medium – sized Enterprises comes back in style, to open doors for entrepreneurs, local government officials and experts from around the world. Everyone will meet on October 25-27. International Congress Centre in Katowice will become an arena od discussion, inspiration and exchange of ideas, focusing on key topics for the future of business.
This year's 13th edition of the congress revolves around the question: "Ready for Change?". In a world of constant economic, social and technological change, entrepreneurs must be ready to adapt and innovate. The #EKMSP 2023 will focus on key issues for business, combining the knowledge of experts from various fields. What will be the main themes of this year's edition? Ready for Change?
This track will discuss strategies for managing a company in a turbulent economic environment, the challenges of the energy transition and global competition for resources in the context of superpower countries. There will be no shortage of deglobalization threads and security issues. Politics and economics will also be in the spotlight. The impact of the EU climate package - Fit for 55 on the economic development of Europe, Poland and the Silesian Voivodeship and its potential as a "Land of Opportunity" will be considered.
Company is people
Under this slogan, experts will analyze developments and new trends in education, skills of the future and educational models in the world in the context of Polish reality. Vocational activation of people with disabilities and the role of visionaries in organizations will also be debated.
Start-ups and innovations
In the area of start-ups and innovation, topics such as building an innovation culture, knowledge management in companies, the use of technology driving growth in this decade, and the future of cryptocurrencies will be discussed.
Law and taxes
The Finance and Investment track will focus on the opportunities and challenges of the EU financial perspective, investing in real estate, financing innovative solutions and the phenomenon of Green Financing.
Marketing and sales
In the area of marketing and sales, experts will examine product management in a turbulent market, social media branding, e-commerce as an opportunity for SMEs, and the impact of AI on marketing campaigns.
Smart City for business
Topics included in this theme will address the suitability of the concept for different cities, business participation in building a smart-city, technologies supporting smart cities and tools for local governments to support entrepreneurs.
Global Business Meeting
The last track concentrates on the international aspects, such as B2B meetings with international guests, international cooperation in geopolitical context and the importance of such partnerships in SME.
The Congress focuses on knowledge and networking, creating space for business development in in era of constant changes and innovations.
