Establishing new business relationships, expanding knowledge, and gaining insights into potential company growth – these are the key benefits highlighted by entrepreneurs when asked to summarize the advantages of participating in the European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises. This year, the event will take place for the thirteenth time.
Last year's event brought together over 5500 participants from 25 countries. In one hundred speeches, debates, and panel discussions, 270 experts took part. Over a hundred international business meetings (both in-person and online) occurred in the networking area, organized jointly with the European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME network, which represents over 2 million EU companies.
With the substantive assistance of 11 Expert Zone Partners, Congress participants were able to benefit from advice from representatives of key state institutions important for entrepreneurs, including the Social Insurance Institution, the Chamber of Tax Administration, the Voivodeship Labour Office, the Upper Silesian Fund, and the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.
In total, the organizer of the Congress, the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, secured 145 Partners, Honorary Patrons, and Media Patrons for the event in 2022.
"I am pleased that the Congress has become an annual space for debates, the exchange of ideas and experiences for small and medium business owners. Since 2011, it has engaged hundreds of experts, entrepreneurs, local government officials, government representatives, and regional authorities in shared discussions. I believe that the thirteenth, 'lucky' edition will once again inspire, broaden horizons, and encourage discussions about solutions that are best for business and the economy," says Tomasz Zjawiony, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, and the Organizer of the Congress.
The organizer of #EKMSP is the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice.
