ENTREPRENEURS' POWER AT THE 13TH EUROPEAN SME CONGRESS

READY FOR CHANGE? Every change is an opportunity - that's the motto of the largest event in Europe dedicated to the Small and Medium Enterprises sector. The 13th European Congress of Small and Medium Enterprises will take place from October 25th to 27th, 2023, at the International Congress Center in Katowice.

The Congress is a place designed for entrepreneurs. The best practitioners will present specially for them, discussions and debates will be organized with the participation of representatives from the European Commission and Parliament, top government officials, ministries, and governmental agencies. Since 2011, the Congress has been a source of inspiration, meetings, and networking. "We will discuss changes that are an opportunity for development, new strategies, and plans. High inflation, rising energy and gas costs, significant increases in the minimum wage and social security contributions, as well as many legal changes - these are just some of the problems currently facing entrepreneurs. How can we face them and come out with minimal damage? I invite you to collaborate in creating the Congress program!" encourages Tomasz Zjawiony, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, which is the organizer of the event.

The twelve previous editions have brought together tens of thousands of participants, including representatives from the world of business, academia, politics, and economic environments. This year, dozens of speeches, panel sessions, workshops, and meetings with experts from Poland and abroad are planned, as well as an expert zone and an exhibition and trade area.

The Congress will be divided into eight thematic tracks, addressing the current challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs: READY FOR CHANGE?, People Make the Company, Start-ups and Innovations, Law and Taxes, Finance and Investments, Marketing and Sales, Smart City for Business, and Global Business Meeting.

The organizer of #EKMSP is the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice. As a creator of the meetings and events industry for over 33 years, it supports regional business and stimulates its development. It provides business and communication advisory services to its Member Companies and helps establish contacts with partners in Poland and abroad. It shapes and promotes principles of ethics, honesty in business activities, and the broader concept of corporate social responsibility.
